In this meeting, we met with our mentor Amy Hurst. We discussed what should be the primary focus of GripFab. Our agreement for now is to focus on collaborating with the clinicians from University of Maryland Medical Center. Working with the clinicians, will give us the direct needs of the users for the crutch grips. Next week, we plan on having some prototypes for the clinicians to provide us feedback. In addition, we are planning on testing out Ninjaflex -is another type of filament which is very flexible and strong- to see if we can incorporate it in our research.
